Job summary

Penrod Inc. seeks an Associate Salesforce Data 360 / Marketing Cloud Specialist to configure data streams, DMOs, unified profiles, and activation targets under guidance. You will build ingestion pipelines, set up journeys, and validate data quality across the stack, while documenting implementations for reusable patterns.

You will translate business needs into user stories and ensure solutions meet client objectives, with a focus on HIPAA data handling when relevant.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud.
• Knowledge of core Data Cloud concepts (streams, DMOs, unified profiles) or Marketing Cloud (journeys, data extensions).
• Basic SQL or SOQL querying for validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with relational data concepts (tables, fields, keys, relationships).
• Strong attention to detail and process-driven work.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to document status and findings.

Responsibilities

• Execute configuration tasks defined by a Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud Lead.
• Build and test ingestion components, identity resolution rules, and activation workflows.
• Configure Marketing Cloud journeys, automations, and data extensions.
• Support data quality validation and reconciliation testing; flag issues.
• Document configuration steps and known issues for reusable patterns.
• Participate in client discovery sessions; capture requirements and decisions.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
