Job summary

SolarWinds is seeking a hands-on Product Owner, CPQ to own the backlog and day-to-day delivery of our Salesforce CPQ platform within the IT Business Applications team. This role translates how Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance quote and close business into well-designed CPQ capabilities.

You will split time between business process discovery and agile delivery, writing stories, grooming backlog, and steering an offshore Salesforce development team through sprint execution to release.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of IT business systems or product ownership experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud experience.
• 3+ years Salesforce Sales Cloud knowledge including opportunity management.
• 2+ years as Product Owner in an agile environment including backlog and story ownership.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Quote-to-Cash or CPQ solutions in multi-product environments.
• Experience with offshore or distributed development teams.

Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the CPQ product backlog with balance of enhancements, defects, debt, and roadmap.
• Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria and edge-case handling.
• Lead sprint ceremonies with offshore Salesforce team: grooming, planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Clarify requirements and accept/reject completed stories as day-to-day decision point.
• Coordinate release scope and readiness with Senior PM; manage regression coverage and deployment planning.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, and delivery risks to stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Document and optimize Quote-to-Cash processes to reduce friction and improve efficiency.
• Design CPQ solutions prioritizing configurability and maintainability as business scales.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales Ops, and Finance to improve quote accuracy and pricing governance.
• Assess downstream impacts to order management, e-commerce, provisioning, and ERP for changes.
