Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with MassDOT divisions to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.

You will lead requirements sessions, create user stories and use cases, translate needs into Salesforce solutions, and support UAT and data migration while ensuring ADA, security, and data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in government or public sector IT.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (configuration, reporting, workflows).
• Strong business process analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MassDOT divisions to gather, analyze, and document requirements through stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions.
• Lead requirements sessions with business users and cross-functional teams to identify needs and process improvements.
• Analyze transportation services, permitting, customer service, and operations to identify gaps and automation opportunities.
• Create and maintain user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate backlog grooming with product owners and developers to prioritize enhancements for sprints.
• Work with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Translate requirements into Salesforce solutions including custom objects, flows, reports, dashboards, and automations.
• Ensure solutions comply with ADA, security policies, and data privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors on integrations and data migrations.
• Develop and execute UAT strategies, test plans, and defect tracking with business sign-off.
• Provide post-implementation support and training materials for MassDOT staff.
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytics to support monitoring and executive decision-making.
• Support data quality initiatives and data governance.
