Salesforce Business Analyst (On-site)

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2+ years supporting Salesforce implementations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and business processes.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator).
- Experience with Public Sector / Government Salesforce projects.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data migration concepts.
- Experience supporting compliance, audit, or regulatory environments.
- Hands on exposure to reports, dashboards, and basic Salesforce configuration.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and objectives.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Analyze currentstate and futurestate processes; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and technically feasible.
- Support configuration and customization of Salesforce solutions including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
- Assist with data mapping, migration planning, and integration requirements.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions align with best practices, security standards, and scalability requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain requirement traceability from discovery through deployment.
- Create and maintain documentation such as BRDs, process flows, use cases, and test scenarios.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scripts, validating results, and tracking defects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding Salesforce requirements.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical and nontechnical teams.
- Provide status updates, clarify scope, and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
