Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves gathering requirements, mapping to Salesforce, writing user stories, and supporting UAT and data migration. Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Agile practices, and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

1 to 2 years of experience as a business analyst, Salesforce admin, QA, or similar role.
Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce including standard objects, reports, dashboards, and declarative configuration.
Experience writing user stories or requirements documentation.
Experience testing Salesforce solutions and documenting test steps, scripts and outcomes.
Understanding of Agile or Scrum.
U.S. Citizenship.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

Join requirements gathering sessions with customers and help capture business needs, pain points, and goals.
Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria that developers can build from.
Document current state and future state process flows using Lucidchart or Visio.
Help map business requirements to Salesforce functionality, including objects, fields, page layouts, and Flows.
Declaratively configure the solution, ensuring acceptance criteria are met and client signs off on each piece of work.
Support user acceptance testing by writing test scripts, running tests, and logging defects.
Maintain requirements traceability so every story ties back to a customer need.
Help prepare training materials, user guides, and release notes for end users.
Assist with data mapping and validation during data migration efforts.
Take part in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and demos.
Keep backlog items organized and up to date in Jira or Azure DevOps.
