As a Salesforce Architect in IBM Consulting, you will play a crucial role in leading our clients' digital transformations, leveraging Salesforce's powerful suite of cloud services.Your role and responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, translate these into technical requirements, and design customized Salesforce solutions.Serve as a billable Salesforce Architect, working closely with IBM Consulting teams to deliver exceptional client service.Contribute and lead pre-sales activities by participating in client presentations, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and proposal development.Lead the technical implementation, configuration, and customization of Salesforce environments, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.Offer deep technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and client teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.Stay current with Salesforce product updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and introduce innovative education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred education

Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Salesforce Architect or a similar role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.Proven expertise in Salesforce transormation and strong understanding of system integration principles, REST / SOAP web services, and middleware technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.Problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Salesforce releases and trends.Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application ArchitectPreferred technical and professional experience Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.Background in a specific industry (e.g., Public sector, finance, healthcare, retail) could be beneficial.Demonstrated some project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environmentABOUT BUSINESS UNITIBM Consulting is IBM's consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
