The Sales Training Manager works in the Field Coaching & Development department to train highly effective Field Sales Managers and Sales Reps. This role involves active market training and coaching, collaborating across sales teams to identify training gaps and deliver impactful training and coaching.

Job Responsibilities
- Implement targeted training programs to enhance the sales team's skills in line with strategic sales goals.
- Complete onboarding training for new hires and ongoing training for current staff.
- Collaborate with leadership on new training methods for Field Sales Managers and Sales Reps.
- Schedule and participate in 'train the trainer' sessions and market success initiatives.
- Support leadership in career development and performance management of Sales associates.
- Provide coaching to Field Sales Managers & Reps.
- Partner with sales and marketing to understand and achieve departmental goals.
- Analyze training needs and evaluate effectiveness, providing recommendations based on data.
- Act as liaison between supplier trainers and the company for training needs.
- Participate in interviews, succession planning, and career development activities.
- Assist with general sales meetings and training event coordination.
- Ensure safe and responsible interactions with the public and handle beverage alcohol products responsibly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years in people management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation software.
- Strong communication, customer service, and results orientation.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently or in teams, and meet deadlines.
- Analytic, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the wine & spirits industry preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales management and supplier-specific training experience.
Physical Requirements
- Stationary work, communication, and operating a computer and phone.
- Travel required, approximately 50% of the time.
Competencies
- Ability to coordinate team activities and resolve varied issues through analysis.

The annual base salary ranges from $84,000 to $105,000. Benefits include health care, life insurance, time off, and 401(k).
