Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader. The Sales Training and Development Manager will design and deliver sales education programs across Advanced Diagnostics, partnering with sales, marketing, and product management to raise readiness and performance.

This on-site role in Sparks, MD requires travel up to 70% and a strong focus on instructional design, coaching, and outcomes measurement to drive successful product launches and sales results.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.
• 3+ years of direct sales or field sales training experience.
• Experience with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing sales training programs.
• Create instructor-led, distance learning, video and web-based curricula.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to align training with strategy.
• Coach and develop new-hire and tenured sales personnel to improve performance.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs and performance metrics.
• Travel up to 70% to home office, field, and meetings to provide coaching and insights.
• Maintain training scorecards and ensure alignment with annual sales plan.
