Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance seeks a full-time, commission-based professional to sell and service a broad portfolio of insurance products across Georgia, leveraging statewide opportunities.

Candidates must obtain the required Georgia licenses, excel in client consulting, and build trusted relationships with farmers and communities while meeting quarterly goals.

The role offers ongoing training and incentives within a supportive network of 160+ offices to help grow your local presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental, meeting quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and high-quality service.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking
• Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately
• Promote GFB and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
