Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a full-time, commission-based agent to sell and service a broad range of insurance products across Georgia. You will meet quarterly sales and retention goals, consult with clients to assess needs, and grow membership through community networking.

The role requires passing Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health exams, or actively pursuing licensure, with strong communication, organizational, and computer skills and a community-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated and community-minded, eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental, and meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking
• Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately
• Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions
• Promote GFB and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
