Job summary

The Cason Group in Columbia, SC is seeking motivated individuals for our Rep Development Program: Sales Trainee. The program provides in-depth career training across Group Benefits, Financial Services, and Individual Medical, with hands-on exposure and certifications.

Trainees will rotate through locations nationwide during initial training (12-18 months) across several cities, with relocation possible after training; travel is required and opportunities to advance to Sales Rep/Regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills for influencing others.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective sales presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams); knowledge of databases.
• Professional appearance and positive company image when interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with various departments to learn and perform sales-support roles.
• Coordinate and communicate with Sales Representatives on prospecting, appointments, and advising agents and clients.
• Drive results by passing RDP certifications and meeting departmental metrics.
• Stay current in industry by obtaining Life and Health licensures and knowledge of products and underwriting guidelines.
