Job summary

Johnson Brothers Maverick Beverage Company is seeking a Sales Trainee/Merchandiser to manage an assigned sales territory, drive sales, merchandising, and account servicing. The role includes training to eventually run a territory with strong emphasis on promotions and in-store tastings.

Responsibilities cover order accuracy, display execution, and timely communication with management. Requires high school diploma, warehouse experience, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma required.
• Experience – 1 year of warehouse experience preferred; inventory control experience a plus.
• Lift and carry a 40+ pound cases of product.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work alone as well as within a team.
• Goal oriented, focused, and assertive with a proven sales track record.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal talents with retailers.
• Attendance is essential: regular, punctual hours including after hours/weekends when required.
• Criminal background check required.
• TripLog app usage for mileage tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined sales territory with selling, servicing, and merchandising tasks.
• Achieve sales objectives and execute territory management strategies.
• Promote current and new products and implement promotions.
• Conduct in-store tastings and service accounts.
• Provide timely order delivery and check accuracy in accounts.
• Keep logs of visits and communicate customer requests to management.
