United Electric Supply offers a Sales Trainee program designed to launch your Outside Sales career in the electrical distribution industry. This hands-on, 18–24 month development path includes rotations, mentorship, and industry training to build your knowledge and confidence.

You’ll learn the customer journey from order entry to fulfillment, develop product knowledge, and gain real-world experience to become a trusted advisor for customers and grow into an Outside Sales role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships within your territory.
• Identify opportunities to support customer projects and business goals.
• Connect customers with United Electric’s full range of solutions including services and product groups.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Follow up on quotes and drive orders to completion.
• Partner with manufacturers to support customer needs.
• Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.
