Job summary

Maxim Crane Works LP is seeking a Sales Trainee to participate in a structured training program, gaining exposure to crane rental and lifting solutions while supporting customers and internal teams.

You will accompany experienced sales staff on customer visits, learn equipment capabilities, and develop skills in prospecting, territory management, and negotiations as you advance toward a Sales Representative role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in internship, customer service, sales, construction, industrial, or related areas preferred.
• Prior crane industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program designed to develop technical, operational, and sales knowledge.
• Accompany Sales Representatives and leaders on customer visits, job site visits, and business development activities.
• Learn Maxim Crane Works' fleet, equipment capabilities, and service offerings.
• Develop an understanding of customer industries, project requirements, and market opportunities.
• Assist with customer relationship management and account development activities.
• Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and customer communications.
