Summary

Under the direction of the Sales VP, the Sales Professional will develop strategic plans, forecast for accounts, communicate effectively, resolve customer issues proactively, grow and maintain sales territory, identify new opportunities, understand customer visions and supply chain objectives, build relationships with decision makers, exceed sales goals, and provide routine cost savings reports.

Responsibilities of the Sales Trainee include, but are not limited to:
  • Successfully complete a 12-24 month comprehensive training program covering warehousing, marketing, operations, customer service, branch training rotation, sales, and product training.
Qualifications of the Sales Trainee include, but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of pumps, pump parts, bearings, power transmission products, safety products, or industrial supplies is preferred.
  • Sales/customer-service oriented mentality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines.
Additional Information
  • Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment.
  • Training/Certifications: Related to pumps, bearings, power transmission, safety, or industrial supplies preferred.
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Travel: Within the Corpus Christi and Houston regions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
