Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking an Assistant Manager in Denver with a sales driven spirit to lead a team toward achieving sales goals and delivering the ultimate customer experience.

The role offers a $30,000 base pay with first-year earnings potential of $60,000–$80,000 through commission, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision, HSA contributions, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience required.
• Ability to train and motivate a sales team.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Strong organizational and numeric skills.
• English reading/writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a well-rounded team of Sales Associates.
• Train and coach employees on policies, procedures and job duties.
• Proactively greet customers and develop lasting relationships.
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations.
• Learn and use knowledge of all store and warehouse operations.
• Lead by example to achieve sales goals.
• Learn the installation process and products to educate customers.
• Provide customers with updates on product delivery status.
• Maintain professional standards to protect The Tile Shop brand.
• Develop schedules for Associates and Warehouse Personnel.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Use good business practices at all times.
