Micro Center in Hilliard, OH is seeking a Sales Tax Associate to review and audit sales tax exemption certificates across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will report to the Tax Manager and work with retail stores to maintain documentation for audits.

This role involves auditing untaxed transactions, filing and archiving reports, assisting with monthly/quarterly tax returns, and generating reports for various business units while delivering strong customer service in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 1 year of clerical or finance experience.
• Experience with Apptricity or similar web-based expense systems and BI reporting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and proficiency in Excel are required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, professional demeanor, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Audit untaxed transactions.
• File and archive untaxed transaction reports.
• Audit, file and archive exemption certificates.
• Assist in filing monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.
• Generate various reports, including ad hoc reporting as needed by business units.
• Perform administrative duties (filing, mailing, etc.).
