Job summary

Vallourec - North America is seeking a Sales Support Representative to back our sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and coordinate between customers, manufacturing, and sales teams. You will help prepare quotations, track tenders, and ensure orders are executed accurately while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience with SAP/ERP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in business or related field.
• 3+ years in sales support in tubular manufacturing or distribution may count in lieu of degree.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer inquiries, establish pricing per policy, and prepare quotations and tender proposals.
• Follow up on quotations and tenders to secure orders and provide market feedback.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and end-user customers to promote Vallourec products and services.
• Perform accurate order entry and contract review to ensure customer requirements are documented.
• Serve as liaison between customers, outside sales teams, and manufacturing throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and support active orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist Sales Management with forecasting, reporting, and process improvements.
• Support accounts receivable activities to ensure adherence to terms.
• Maintain sales documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Participate in QHS&E programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
