Drexel Building Supply Inc is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to back our outside sales team with day-to-day processes and keep operations running smoothly.

You will handle deliveries, pricing updates, start packets, and quotes, using POS and spreadsheets daily, while attending daily huddles and helping with overages, shortages, orders, and training new teammates.

Responsibilities

Assist outside sales with day-to-day processes.
Type up and schedule delivery of materials; print packets.
Update quotes with current pricing and resubmit.
Create jobs in the system and lock in quotes.
Navigate point-of-sale systems and spreadsheets daily.
Attend daily huddles to align workload.
Assist with change orders, warranty, and service repairs.
Support the local sales team with rollover calls.
Look for process improvements and training new teammates.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Self-motivated team player
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively one-on-one, and with large groups.
Sales support duties: Typing up and scheduling delivery of materials, printing start packets, (floor plans, i-joist, truss layouts, etc.), scheduling returns, updating quote with current pricing to resubmit, creating jobs in the system and locking in quotes.
Daily use and navigation of “point of sales” systems, computers and spreadsheets.
Attending daily Quarterback huddles to guide workload and duties.
Support with and help navigate overages and shortages of materials.
Assist in facilitating change orders & warranty/service repairs for internal/external customers.
Support the local sales team with rollover calls.
Detail oriented with an eye for process improvement.
As you grow in your role you will assist in training and motivating new team members.
