Position Summary

Leading trading company in NYC is seeking a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and closing corporate loan opportunities, preparing internal approvals documents, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth of our corporate lending portfolio.

Responsibilities

1. Follow up on new corporate loan opportunities
2. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential corporate clients
3. Analyze clients' financial needs and propose appropriate loan products and solutions
4. Prepare and present loan proposals to clients and internal credit committees
5. Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients
6. Collaborate with credit analysts and underwriters to structure deals and mitigate risks
7. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
8. Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system
11. Monitor the performance of loan portfolio, and respond to workout situations as needed

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience supporting corporate lending, related financial services sales, or lead generation
3. Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial analysis, and risk assessment
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
5. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
8. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements

Preferred Requirements

1. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) a plus
2. Japanese/English bilingual skills

Salary
