Position Overview

Wedding Day Diamonds is looking for an outgoing, service-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our team at our high-volume Maple Grove location.

This part-time role is all about creating a great first impression and helping our store team deliver an exceptional client experience. You'll welcome guests as they arrive, learn what brings them in, help get them started, and ensure they're ready for a smooth handoff to a Client Advocate when one becomes available.

You'll also assist clients with services such as jewelry repairs, clean-and-check visits, and gold buybacks while helping the store stay organized and running efficiently during busy periods.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule of approximately 21 hours per week:

• Monday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Some flexibility may be available based on candidate availability, provided the schedule continues to meet the needs of the business.

Compensation

• $19.00 - $21.00 per hour , based on experience
• Plus commission on eligible jewelry repairs and gold buybacks

What You'll Do

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will:

• Welcome Our Clients: Greet every guest warmly, learn what brings them in, and create a comfortable experience from the moment they enter the store.
• Support Client Handoffs: Ask thoughtful questions, help clients get started, and prepare them for a seamless handoff to a Client Advocate.
• Manage Client Flow: Help keep a high-volume sales floor moving while ensuring waiting clients feel acknowledged and cared for.
• Assist with Jewelry Services: Guide clients through repair intake, clean-and-check visits, and gold buybacks with accuracy and professionalism.
• Build Jewelry Knowledge: Learn about diamonds, gemstones, metals, jewelry care, repairs, and our products so you can confidently assist clients.
• Recognize Opportunities: Identify when a service interaction may lead to a larger jewelry need and connect the client with a Client Advocate.
• Support Store Operations: Help maintain an organized, welcoming showroom and assist the team with day-to-day operational needs.

You don't need previous jewelry experience. We'll provide the training and product knowledge you need to succeed.

Previous retail, hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or sales experience is helpful, but a great attitude, strong people skills, and a willingness to learn are most important.
