    Each year Scholastic Book Fairs, in partnership with schools across the country, hosts more than 100,000 book-sale events that give over 35 million students and their families access to affordable, educational products, fostering a lifelong love of reading.

    We are seeking Sales Support Reps to help grow the Book Fair business. These full-time positions offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 50% discount on Scholastic merchandise, a 401k, and summer off.

    The Sales Support role is remote, working from home.

    Qualified candidates will collaborate with Fair Consultants on tasks supporting territory objectives, including customer communication, Salesforce documentation, and other duties assigned by the Territory Manager. This role prepares candidates for potential advancement to Fair Consultant roles.

    This role is open outside Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. For candidates in those states, additional information is provided below.

    The estimated pay range is:

    $32,500 - $45,000

    Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support market and event activities, including scheduling, appointment setting, calls during and after events, and order management.
  2. Coordinate with branch and transportation teams to address operational needs.
  3. Promote book fair programs, marketing initiatives, and guide customers for successful events.
  4. Maintain accurate records in CRM, prioritize tasks, and cover territories as needed.

  1. Build relationships with school personnel, district contacts, and parent organizations.
  2. Deliver exceptional service and address customer concerns promptly.

Teamwork:

  1. Communicate regularly with the team and share calendar information.
  2. Collaborate to meet operational guidelines.

  1. Support our mission and demonstrate our values.
  2. Adapt to changing priorities and attend events as needed.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; BA/BS preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM.
  • 2+ years sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of children’s literature and school activities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Availability for evening hours as needed.
