Summary:

MAIN FACILITY CAN BE IN BETHLEHEM OR MOOSIC, PA

The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The position works with the Sales leadership team to drive key initiatives and help Flowserve achieve its goals, maximizing sales bookings and opportunity pipelines.

The SSR uses data as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate sales quota forecasting, and sales productivity reporting and efficiency analysis. The role supports end-user customers related to our Aftermarket Parts offering for the Nuclear Market in North America.

Responsibilities:
  1. Promote a positive and professional working atmosphere, challenging the status quo to improve and creating an exceptional customer experience.
  2. Lead coordination efforts on aftermarket quotes, ensuring collaboration with all stakeholders.
  3. Review customer specifications and documents to apply current Flowserve technical and commercial requirements.
  4. Influence people through effective collaboration, problem-solving, and relational engagement.
  5. Drive daily tactical customer proposals and support strategic offerings and sales win-back opportunities.
  6. Partner with Site Hubs to enhance quotation performance across regions and product sites, leveraging quoting tools for efficiency.
  7. Generate high-quality, timely, and competitively priced proposals to facilitate order fulfillment.
  8. Manage and monitor proposals throughout the bid cycle, maintaining workload management tools and optimizing hit-rate.
  9. Identify key actions with sales leadership to achieve forecast accuracy and address performance gaps, including preparing QBR data analytics.
  10. Maintain organized records of sales training, organization charts, and other critical information.
  11. Collaborate with Sales leadership to execute and deliver continuous improvement projects.
  12. Compile weekly sales reports.
  13. Support 30-day, quarterly sales forecasts, and monthly outlook processes.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across functions.
  4. Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment, with success in managing commercial or government contracts.
  5. Understanding of pump applications and types, parts, programs, and processes to drive solutions for end users.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a global mindset.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  8. Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
  1. Experience with customer relationship management in nuclear, power generation, or utility industries.
  2. Experience with Salesforce.
  3. Experience in pricing, contract review, and ERP administration.
