Job summary

Sysco's Edward Don division in the Philadelphia/Westampton area is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the DON sales force in the US. The role handles quotes, order research, and customer communications with a focus on exceptional service.

Required are a High School Diploma and 2+ years of administrative support experience, plus working knowledge of SAP and intermediate Excel/Word. Preferred are an Associate degree and prior food-service sales exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years admin support
• SAP knowledge; intermediate Word and Excel; strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for new customer roll-outs and product launches
• Communicate order status including sales, returns, and credits to Sales Reps
• Prepare quotes and reports using DON Auto Quote System or Excel
• Process stock and non-stock orders; follow up with factory on progress and deliveries
• Resolve internal and external customer issues
