Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a proactive Sales Support professional to join our team in the United States. The role centers on supporting the sales team with administrative tasks and delivering excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.

The position emphasizes handling proposals, inquiries, PO entries, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth operations within a food distribution-focused company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ months sales administration experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses via email/phone/in-person.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations for seamless coordination.
• Coordinate sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Obtain and enter purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Assist sales team with follow-up including order confirmations and bookings.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in the system.
• Monitor remaining contract balances from order entry.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA policies.
