Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a sales support professional to aid the Commercial Department in growing and maintaining the customer base. You will update pricing, maintain records, and support the sales process from quote to payment.

The role collaborates with inside and external sales teams, ensuring accurate pricing and smooth system operations. Strong data handling, communication, and multitasking are essential to succeed in this office-based position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Sales/Marketing position or equivalent position with a customer service focus.
• Preferred experience in Customer Relations Management, quote management system, MS Office Excel, company ERP software as required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer requests received via email and telephone in a timely manner.
• Enter and verify pricing and cartage rates on sales orders.
• Maintain tax exempt certs and system status.
• Run and Analyze reports to show pricing errors.
• Maintain system efficiency.
• Maintenance and general support sales systems and documentation.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users while analyzing data for pricing issues.
• Work with insides sales and understand and perform the duties of inside sales at times.
• Deal directly with customers and other sales team members on problems and solutions.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with both customers and other team members.
