Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn how customer orders move through the business by assisting with order entry, invoicing, and fulfillment processes.
• Help document and improve internal processes through process mapping and job aids.
• Review reports and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
• Assist with inventory, freight, and intercompany issue tracking to support day‑to‑day operations.
• Gain exposure to vendor management activities, including vendor setup and invoice review.
• Support EDI monitoring and help resolve transaction‑related issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure orders and customer requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Network with senior leaders, associates, and other program interns to learn about the organization.
• Tour Hussmann's manufacturing facility and Global Hub; participate in community outreach and Ideation & Innovation Challenge.
