Role Description
The Sales Support Associate (SSA) is responsible for identifying and driving new business for NuEnergen across various services and geographies.This includes direct prospecting, lead generation, outreach, and follow-up on business opportunities for both NuEnergen and its subsidiary, EES.The SSA also provides support to other members of the marketing and sales teams.In these aforementioned responsibilities, the SSA will report to NuEnergen’s Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
At the discretion and management of NuEnergen’s Senior Vice President, Client Services, the SSA may also take on responsibilities relating to account management and CRM support functions on an as-needed basis.
This role will involve daily engagement with prospects, partners, and existing clients, both in-person and via phone, email, and video call.It requires an individual who is a self-starter, capable of operating independently and effectively on stipulated objectives.Working hours will primarily be spent in the office researching and developing new leads and making outbound sales activities, with some occasional field time managing existing client relationships, attending tradeshows, and further pursuing opportunities with the intention of increasing company wallet share.The SSA will be expected to understand and speak cogently on all NuEnergen service lines, and work with all levels of NuEnergen employees to include operations and executive leadership in support of business objectives.Proficiency in Microsoft’s Office suite, HubSpot, and Box cloud sharing software will be necessary, as is the ability to professionally represent our firm to external parties.
Responsibilities and Duties
•Identification and qualification of new prospects through the use of NuEnergen’s lead generation tools and direct outreach to develop initial interest in NuEnergen’s services.Following qualification, the successful transition of these leads to NuEnergen’s Client Services Managers (CSM) or sales leadership for further action.
•Delivery against sales KPIs and quotas as established by NuEnergen’s VP, Sales & Marketing.
•Develop and maintain a sales pipeline via HubSpot to meet established targets, to include weekly reporting and updates with respect to activities and progression of opportunities.
•Serve as support for NuEnergen’s CSMs in the pre-sales process, though also as needed, take primary responsibility for a sale or management of an existing relationship by way of:

Education and Work Experience Requirements
As this is an entry-level sales role, previous experience is not a requirement, but preference will be given to candidates with previous experience, training, or education in energy markets and sales.
Candidates should be located within commuter distance from NuEnergen’s office in White Plains, NY.SSAs are expected to be in the office five days per week, with the exception of occasional time in the field

Total On-Target compensation is up to $90,000 per year inclusive of:
