Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Sales Support Analyst for an 11-month contract (W-2). The role supports the Sales team in the Natural Gas and Retail Energy markets, handling complex analyses and guiding project teams.

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met accurately.
• Engage in process design and modification for continuous business improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across all internal departments, increasing awareness of front-to-end processes.

About the role

We're looking for a Sales Support Analyst on behalf of our client. This is an 11‑month contract assignment (W‑2). You would have a passion for making a difference in the Natural Gas and Retail Energy market. We will expect you to support direct and/or indirect sales activities for most deregulated markets. You will conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision‑making within the team. You will be based in Houston, Texas, and report to the Sales Support Manager. Location: Houston, Texas 77002.

Key Responsibilities

• Employees in this role directly support our Sales team for processing commercial agreements.
• Act as liaison between our Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners and Customers, including analyzing inbound requests for proposals, account set up, gathering usage data, managing changes to proposals and pricing refreshes, and any other aspects of opportunity set up to allow for bidding.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met accurately.
• Proactively engage in process design and modification for continuous business improvement.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally across all internal departments, increasing awareness of front‑to‑end processes and impacts to current team responsibility.

Qualifications

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.00/hr. to $30.00/hr.
