Living Spaces Furniture in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Sales Specialist 2 (Operations) to blend sales expertise with expanded operational duties and to deliver the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model. The role drives guest visits and KPI achievements while performing standard work and supporting cash office tasks.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily sales, maintaining guest satisfaction, processing payments, and supporting Commercial & Trade programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 2 years of retail experience in a direct customer environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and meet or exceed Sales Per Hour thresholds.
• Review daily sales results and complete monthly proficiency plans using end-of-month reporting tools.
• Maintain guest satisfaction scores at or above store goals and follow up on guest emails and CRM tickets.
• Assist store leadership with guest escalations, returns, exchanges, and discounts per SOP.
• Process payments accurately (cash, financing, credit cards) and perform Cash Office duties per policy.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Commercial & Trade programs and drive outreach to business clients.
• Perform Sales Specialist-1 and assigned Sales Specialist-2 standard work and adhere to planning, lead tracking, and event routines.
• Ensure SOP compliance and alignment with commercial objectives.

Position Summary

The Sales Specialist 2 (Operations) combines established sales expertise with expanded, role-based capabilities in Operations. The Sales Specialist 2 executes the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive repeat visits, and achieve targeted sales per hour while meeting all key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition to core sales responsibilities, the role includes developing advanced operational capabilities by performing standard work, supporting operational customer functions, and maintaining the cash office in accordance with established standards.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and driveproficiencyin the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, aligning behaviors to expected sales outcomes and meeting or exceeding Sales Per Hourthresholds.
• Reviewdaily sales results and complete monthlyproficiencyplans using end-of-month reporting tools.
• Maintainguestsatisfaction survey scores at or above store goals; perform guest email follow-ups and resolve open CRM tickets promptly.
• Assiststore leadership in resolving guest escalations, returns, exchanges, and discounts in compliance with SOP guidelines.
• Process all payment transactions accurately, including cash,financing,and credit cards; execute assigned Cash Office standard work, including vault opening andclosing,in compliance with Asset Protection and security policies.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Commercial & Trade programs, driving outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building with business clients.
• Perform Sales Specialist-1 and assigned Sales Specialist-2 Standard Work forsalesandoperations while following structured routines for planning, lead tracking, and event execution.
• Ensure compliance and consistency in all processes, including SOP adherence, commercialobjectives, and performance routines from concept through delivery.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment preferred. High volume experience is preferred.Equivalentcombination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.

SupervisoryResponsibilities: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
