Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE in Dallas, TX is seeking a role to assist the sales staff by supporting and selling SEW-EURODRIVE Service, Maintenance and CDM projects. The position includes a pay range of $55,000 to $60,000 annually and a 1st shift.

The candidate should have a mechanical/Mechatronics background with at least 1 year of service or maintenance experience, and be able to travel domestically for visits, training and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude with gear drives and motors experience.
• Ability to work in varied customer production environments (mining, automotive, food & beverage, etc.).
• Must be able to attend technical training meetings, seminars and trade shows as requested.
• Mechanical Technical Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Service / Maintenance.
• Ability to organize workload for timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for promoting SEW-EURODRIVE service, maintenance and CDM projects in all areas where SEW-EURODRIVE products are installed.
• Develop understanding of major markets in the area of responsibility.
• Visit customers to promote SEW-EURODRIVE service activities and sales.
• Frequent domestic travel; stay overnight as needed, including after-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Assist with regional training needs so staff are aware of SEW service activities and how to support customer needs.

About the Role

• Ability to work in various customer production environments, i.e., mining, automotive, amusement parks, food and beverage plants etc.
• Must be able to attend technical training meetings, seminars and trade shows as requested.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
