Base pay range
$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Purpose
The Sales & Service Associate will be responsible for delivering a personalized and caring client experience, efficiently handling sales and service transactions, identifying financial needs, recommending products and services, and engaging business partners to improve the financial well-being of clients. The role requires a thorough understanding of bank products, services, policies, and regulations. The associate will engage in sales and service activities, providing exceptional customer service to current and prospective clients.
Essential Functions
- Builds and expands banking relationships through proactive customer outreach.
- Serves, acquires, and deepens customer relationships.
- Achieves individual and team sales and service goals.
- Develops business and supports servicing needs of customers.
- Provides customer service in both transaction processing and sales roles, adapting to office needs.
- Engages customers in conversations about their financial needs.
- Processes deposits, lending applications, and account opening transactions accurately.
- Provides advice-led consultation to customers.
- Participates in community events and supports community initiatives.
- Maintains knowledge of and compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Introduces customers to digital banking solutions and processes transactions professionally.
- Manages a cash drawer and follows balancing procedures.
- Supports daily operational needs including vault and ATM management.
- Refers complex customer needs to appropriate team members.
- Identifies and resolves client issues promptly.
- Handles phone inquiries professionally.
- Ensures security and audit compliance.
- Demonstrates high standards of customer service and teamwork.
Job Related Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1+ years of retail banking experience, including transaction processing and customer advisory skills.
