The Sales Support Associate backs the outside sales reps and retail counter, handling orders, quoting material lists, assisting customers, and ensuring accurate tickets and timely deliveries to drive sales and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; not required.
• Experience in construction or construction sales is a plus.
• Experience with Sales Processes or Administration.
• Familiarity with BizTrack is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make timely decisions.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.
• Able to operate a cash register accurately.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ordering, stocking, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Input orders and quote material lists.
• Assist customers with product selection and service.
• Write tickets for stock and special orders.
• Work with outside sales staff and support accounts.
• Monitor open orders for timely completion.
• Coordinate deliveries and credit pickups with dispatch.
• Process confirmations, invoices, and credits.
• Operate cash register accurately.
