Job summary

West Shore Home in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Design Consultant to join our in-home sales team. You will present our remodel solutions for bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors, guiding customers through a one-call close on warm, pre-set leads.

The role offers a rotating schedule (week 1–2 Mon–Fri 9-7, weeks 3–4 Tue–Fri 9-7 and Sat 9-2), base pay plus uncapped commissions with earnings up to $200K+. Veterans and bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell in-home or B2B with a customer-first approach.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must own smartphone or smart device for company apps and two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Follow a rotating schedule with evenings/weekends.
• Conduct in-home sales appointments of ~2 hours.
• Attend weekly team meetings and training.
• Lead customers through a one-call close sales process.

Purpose of Position:

An In-Home Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for all customers by delivering the West Shore Home sales method to secure customer agreements to purchase our products and services.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule:
  • Weeks 1–2: Mon–Fri, available 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Weeks 3–4: Tues–Fri (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
• Sales appointments are about 2 hours each
• Attend weekly team meetings and training workshops
• Guide customers through a personalized one-call close sales process
• No cold-calling or lead generation- all leads are warm and pre-set. We want you to do what you do best- selling!

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to quickly connect with anyone in an environment
• A competitive nature with a drive to succeed
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous sales experience but we’ve also seen great success with those from retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication

Compensation:
