Job summary

West Shore Home is hiring an In-Home Sales Representative in Minneapolis, MN. You will meet with customers in their homes, present our remodeling solutions, and guide them through the purchase process. Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses drive strong earnings.

Our rotating schedule runs Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday. This role includes health, retirement, and PTO benefits, plus professional growth opportunities in a fast-growing home improvement company.

Qualifications

• The ability to quickly connect with customers in person and adapt to different situations.
• A competitive nature with a proven drive to close deals and meet/exceed targets.
• Previous sales experience is beneficial, especially in home improvement or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential customers at their homes to present products and solutions.
• Demonstrate product value and installation quality to secure agreements.
• Work with customers to find options that fit their budget and guide them through the purchase.
• Close sales and complete required post-sale activities; typical appointments run ~2 hours.

Purpose Of Position

An In-Home Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for all customers by delivering the West Shore Home sales method to secure customer agreements to purchase our products and services.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule:
• Weeks 1–2: Mon–Fri, available 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Weeks 3–4: Tues–Fri (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
• No cold-calling or lead generation- all leads are warm and pre-set. We want you to do what you do best- selling!
• Sit down with potential customers at their homes to provide an in-depth consultant on our products.
• Communicate the value of our products and of our installation quality.
• Work with the customer to find options that work inside their budget.
• Close sales with customers and provide required post sale activity.
• Sales appointments run for approximately 2 hours.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to quickly connect with anyone in an environment
• A competitive nature with a drive to succeed
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous sales experience but we’ve also seen great success with those from retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
