Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc. seeks an experienced Sales Representative for the public sector market (K-12, municipalities, universities) and high-profile private accounts (casinos, healthcare, resorts). The role emphasizes developing new territory business, meeting sales goals, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The position is exempt and salaried with commission. Normal hours are Monday–Friday, with benefits, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, and a home office setup.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience with a proven record of success.
• Experience in food service business or restaurant operations or selling restaurant equipment.
• Reliable transportation with valid driving license and clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Demonstrated computer skills; Google Chrome and Auto Quotes experience are helpful.

Responsibilities

Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc., is seeking an experienced food service equipment and supplies Sales Representative for the public sector market to include K-12 schools, municipalities, universities, etc. This salesperson will also be responsible for high profile accounts in the private sector such as casinos, healthcare, resorts, etc.

Essential Job Functions

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new territory business, achieving territory goals, and providing excellent customer service in addition to the following:

• Meet territory sales goals using relationship building, cold calls and referrals.
• Develop a territory sales plan and strategy to meet objectives.
• Present a professional image to the customer.
• Provide excellent customer service through responsiveness, quality, and product knowledge.
• Participate in training to develop expertise in food service products and services.
• Attend conferences and trade shows, as required. Travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• High School graduate, college degree preferred.
• Two to five years of outside sales experience with a proven record of success.
• Candidates who are, or were, in the food service business, restaurant or cafeteria operations, or sold restaurant equipment and supplies, will be considered.
• Reliable transportation with valid driving license and clean driving record. Ability to be covered by the Company vehicle insurance carrier.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and customer demanding environment.
• Demonstrated computer skills. Google Chrome and Auto Quotes experience are helpful.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours

• This is an exempt, salaried position with commission.
• Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM.
• This position offers eligibility for health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental insurance and 401(k) matching along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
• This position will require the salesperson to be officed at home.
• The territory is in the State of Arizona.
