Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a relief store-level salesperson to partner with local accounts in Springfield, MO, ensuring on-time delivery and proper shelf presence for PepsiCo brands.

You will grow sales in convenience and small-format stores, stock and rotate products, and execute promotions while building strong store relationships. Starting at 7am, Monday through Friday, with a $25.00 per hour wage and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multiple store locations within assigned shift
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance
• Position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period
• Position requires bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving product

Responsibilities

• Be the relief store-level salesperson and key point of contact to small format accounts like convenience and gas stores, small grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, etc.
• Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in all assigned accounts
• Take inventory and place product orders for future delivery (delivered by another employee)
• Rotate and stock products on shelves and displays, in coolers, and in backrooms to meet merchandising standards
• Sell and execute promotions, including setting up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Build strong relationships with store management, grow sales and space allocation, build displays, and complete required paperwork accurately and on time
