Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is hiring a full-time merchandiser to sell and merchandise Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina to local stores, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The role starts early (5 AM) and runs through 2 PM, with 5 days per week and rotating days off, in La Plata, MD.

You will be the relief store-level salesperson, grow sales and distribution, take inventory, stock shelves, and execute promotions. A car and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and access to a car.
• Physical ability to lift 20–45 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be the relief store-level salesperson and contact for large format accounts.
• Grow sales volume, market share, distribution, space and service across assigned accounts.
• Take inventory and place future product orders.
• Stock shelves, displays and coolers to merchandising standards.
• Sell and execute promotions with pricing signs and banners.
• Build relationships with store management and complete paperwork accurately.

Sell and merchandise beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina to local stores so communities can enjoy them, safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Be the relief store-level salesperson and key point of contact to large format accounts like supermarkets and Mass Merchants
• Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in all assigned accounts
• Take inventory and place product orders for future delivery (delivered by another employee)
• Rotate and stock products on shelves and displays, in coolers, and in backrooms to meet merchandising standards
• Sell and execute promotions, including setting up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Build strong relationships with store management, grow sales and space allocation, build displays, and complete required paperwork accurately and on time

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Must have car to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance
• Position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases ranging from 20-45 lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires standing, walking, reaching, and squatting while merchandising product (with or without accommodation)
