We have an immediate need for a Sales Representative in the Water Treatment industry, located in or around the Central Minnesota Area. This is a hands-on technical sales role, working directly with customers to evaluate the health of water systems.

Remote Role

Title: Sales Representative - Water Treatment

Location: Central Minnesota area

Travel: 80-100% within territory

Pay: $70K to $90K base salary based on experience, PLUS commission

Responsibilities

• Take a consultative sales approach with a strong emphasis on converting strategic competitive accounts. Build long-term relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers, executing programs, and selling new technologies.
• Service and maintain the current account base inherited from the company.
• Complete call reports, service reports, and business reviews as required.
• Assist with meeting account commitments throughout the region as needed.
• Service accounts as per agreement.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• 4-year technical degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience/previous industrial sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated sales experience.
• Industry experience in Water Treatment Sales.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.
• The qualified candidate will be subjected to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Physical requirements:

• Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
• Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods.
• Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
• Working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
• Operating a motor vehicle for extended periods, sometimes requiring overnight travel.
• Following customer safety rules and procedures.
