We are seeking a Sales Representative in the Water Treatment industry, based in or around the Central Minnesota area. This is a hands-on technical sales role, working directly with customers to assess and improve water system health.

Role Details:

  • Title: Sales Representative - Water Treatment
  • Location: Central Minnesota area
  • Travel: 80-100% within territory
  • Compensation: $70K to $90K base salary, plus commission, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  1. Adopt a consultative sales approach, focusing on converting strategic competitive accounts.
  2. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers by understanding their business drivers, executing programs, and selling new technologies.
  3. Service and retain current accounts inherited from the company.
  4. Complete call reports, service reports, and business reviews as required.
  5. Assist in meeting regional account commitments.
  6. Service accounts according to agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year technical degree in engineering or equivalent experience, or previous industrial sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in water treatment industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and industrial equipment safely.
  • Reaching in all directions, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping.
  • Operate motor vehicles for extended periods, including overnight travel.
  • Work in temperatures above 100°F when required.
  • Adhere to customer safety rules and procedures.
