Your Role

As aSales Representative, you will be the field based driving force behind our activities in veterinary clinics and hospitals within your territory. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Engagement: Plan and implement impactful field visits, events, and projects that resonate with our customers.
  • Scientific Communication: Educate veterinary professionals about our innovative products and new indications, ensuring they have the knowledge to enhance their practice.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with clients to boost their business through increased customer flow, loyalty programs, and employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • Partnership Building: Establish strong relationships with both corporate and non-corporate accounts, delivering exceptional scientific service and commercial insights.
  • Goal Achievement: Work closely with the Sales Manager to identify new opportunities, segment customers, and develop tailored account plans for key clients.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the companion animal veterinary market, along with relevant therapy areas. Being a veterinarian or a vet nurse is an advantage.
  • Commercial Understanding: A solid understanding of the business aspects of running a veterinary practice.
  • Scientific Insight: A strong grasp of scientific principles related to animal health.
  • Drive and Ambition: A proactive approach with a sense of urgency to meet targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset, while also being capable of self-management.
  • Data-Driven Approach: A structured methodology to track and report activities effectively.
  • Agility: A willingness to embrace new ways of working and adapt to industry changes.
  • Open to travel: Ability to travel for approximately 80% of time (with possible overnight stay)
