Job summary

AmericannMade is a California cannabis company seeking a self-employed sales contractor. You will identify and qualify new accounts daily, develop relationships through email, calls, and in-person visits, and drive growth using provided materials.

You will operate as a 1099 contractor earning a 5% commission on sales, with responsibilities including CRM updates, product education, and territory marketing. Compliance with regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential new accounts daily per sales goals.
• Develop sales relationships with new accounts via email, cold calls and in-person visits.
• Operate as a self-employed independent contractor (1099) earning 5% commission on sales.
• Update accounts with new products and maintain CRM records.
• Educate accounts on products using provided materials and in-store trainings.
• Distribute marketing collateral within the defined territory to build brand awareness.
• Attend internal sales calls and contribute to planning and execution of sales strategy.
• Stay current with cannabis industry trends to spot growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Management to achieve personal and company goals.
• Follow all state, local, and company rules and regulations.

Job Duties:

• Identify and qualify potential new accounts daily as per sales team's weekly goal
• Develop sales relationships with new accounts via email, cold call and in-person visits
• This is a self-employed independent contractor position, a 1099 job, which compensates 5% commission from contractor's sales
• Update accounts with any new product(s) as they are released
• Educate accounts on products through provided marketing materials and in-store training
• Marketing collateral should continuously be distributed throughout the defined territory
• Update CRM with client interactions, needs and sales orders
• Manage and build brand awareness with current and new accounts
• Attend internal sales calls
• Stay current with industry trend to identify new opportunities for company growth
• Work closely with Sales Management to ensure successful planning, development, and execution of your sales strategy plan to achieve personal and company sales goals
• Follow all state, local and company rules and regulations
