Job summary

Green Light Distribution is seeking energetic beverage sales professionals in Florida to grow our distribution network and strengthen relationships with retailers and customers. You will identify target accounts and work with on- and off-premises staff, retailers, and sales teams to drive placements.

Responsibilities include educating trade and consumers, analyzing data with tools like Encompass and MS Office, and expanding our network of distribution points.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in beverage distribution or with a supplier.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally.
• Hands-on, able to work remotely and add value to the team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to direct distributor sales and develop key retail relationships.
• Familiarity with the local market.

Green Light Distribution is growing quickly, we are looking for passionate, innovative, and self-motivated individuals with a business oriented and customer focused mindset to join the GLD family.

Responsibilities:

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with on and off premises staff, retail managers and customer sales personnel.
• Leverage relationship with key accounts to sell in distribution.
• A very "hands-on" individual able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment while helping other team membersachievesuccess.
• Educate trade and the consumer through direct interactionincludingsamplings, meetings, andtrainings(support local team with staff training etc.)
• Utilize data analysis tools such as Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts,tasksand output.
• Maintain and enhance network of points of distribution.
• Achieve monthly sales and placements goals in assigned territory.

Relevant Work Experience and Requirements:

• A beverage industry professional with a minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; spirits background would be ideal.
• Musthave and provide valid Driver’s Licenseand auto insurance that is in force.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, such as nights and weekends.
• A very "hands-on" individual able to work remotely anddemonstrateadded value.
• Strong interpersonal skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships.
• Familiarity with the local market.
