Job summary

Green Light Distribution is seeking a dynamic Beverage Sales professional in Melbourne, FL. You will identify target accounts, build relationships with staff and managers, and drive distribution with key accounts in a fast-paced environment.

You will educate trade and consumers through samplings, meetings and trainings, using data tools to track results. Expect to grow the distribution network and meet monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sales experience in beverage supplier or distributor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Willingness to work remotely and add value.

Green Light Distribution is growing quickly, we are looking for passionate, innovative, and self-motivated individuals with a business oriented and customer focused mindset to join the GLD family.

Responsibilities:

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with on and off premises staff, retail managers and customer sales personnel.
• Leverage relationship with key accounts to sell in distribution.
• A very “hands-on” individual able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment while helping other team membersachievesuccess.
• Educate trade and the consumer through direct interactionincludingsamplings, meetings, andtrainings(support local team with staff training etc.)
• Utilize data analysis tools such as Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts,tasksand output.
• Maintain and enhance network of points of distribution.
• Achieve monthly sales and placements goals in assigned territory.

Relevant Work Experience and Requirements:

• A beverage industry professional with a minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; spirits background would be ideal.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.
• Musthave and provide valid Driver’s Licenseand auto insurance that is in force.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, such as nights and weekends.
• A very “hands-on” individual able to work remotely anddemonstrateadded value.
• Strong interpersonal skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships.
• Familiarity with the local market.
