Job summary

GEICO Indemnity Company in Tampa is seeking a Sales Representative to guide customers and protect what matters most. You will handle inquiries, assess needs, and deliver a personalized sales experience.

Base salary ranges from $56,000 to $69,000 annually with performance incentives up to $60,000. A $1,500 sign-on bonus for licensed candidates is offered. Benefits start Day1, including health, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition assistance, with an 80% on-site / 20% off-site structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 month of customer-facing sales experience.
• Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Incentives

Base Salary: $56,000 - $69,000 annually.

Performance Incentives: Earn up to an additional $60,000 annually.

Differentials: +10% for evening shifts; +20% for weekends.

Bonuses: $1,500 sign‑on for licensed candidates (Personal Lines or Property & Casualty).

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Customer Interaction: Manage incoming calls and engage potential customers to provide a positive and personalized sales experience.
• Needs Assessment: Identify potential customer needs and recommend coverage solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about GEICO’s products and identify cross‑selling opportunities to assist potential customers.
• Meaningful Impact: Provide potential customers with peace of mind by helping them choose the right coverage for the best protection.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 1 month of customer‑facing sales experience required; 3+ years preferred. Experience in high‑volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable goals preferred. Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license preferred (training and exam fees provided).

High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.

Core Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms.

Availability: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
