Momentum Solar is seeking driven Solar Consultants in New Jersey to meet homeowners at pre-scheduled appointments, guide them through solar options, and close deals. There is no door-knocking or cold-calling; every appointment is set for you, with about 8-10 visits per week and a strong sit rate.

Training is provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package and uncapped commissions. Top performers can earn $250k+, with ongoing coaching and clear growth paths.

Momentum Solar, founded in 2009, is one of the fastest-growing companies in renewable energy. We're owner-operated, handle every step in-house from design through installation, and are expanding into new markets in 2026. We are seeking driven, people-focused professionals, including experienced closers, to join our team as Solar Consultants.. No prior solar or sales experience required. We provide structured, high-level training and ongoing coaching to develop top-performing consultants. What we're looking for is the right skills, mindset, and work ethic.. Car and driver's license required.

About the Role

Solar Consultants meet with homeowners at pre-scheduled, confirmed appointments and guide them through the process of understanding and purchasing solar. There is no door knocking, cold calling or prospecting. Every appointment is set, confirmed, and scheduled for you.. We invest around $1,000 per appointment to put you in front of qualified homeowners. That's our commitment to your success. Consultants attend 8-10 appointments per week, supported by our industry-leading 70% sit rate..

Scope

• Attend pre-set, confirmed appointments with homeowners.
• Clearly explain solar and battery storage options, pricing, and benefits.
• Answer questions and address concerns with confidence and honesty.
• Guide homeowners through a structured decision-making process.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development.

Who Succeeds in This Role

• Experienced closers from solar, home improvement, or other in-home sales.
• Strong communicators who are comfortable leading conversations.
• Individuals who take coaching well and apply feedback.
• People with backgrounds in hospitality, customer service, leadership, education, competitive athletics, or other performance-based roles.
• Self-motivated professionals who want control over their income.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends to match homeowner schedules.
