Job summary

Green Light Distribution is expanding and seeks passionate, self-motivated sales professionals in Oregon to grow our beverage distribution network. You will identify target accounts, build relationships with staff, and drive monthly sales and placements in your territory.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of beverage industry sales experience, MS Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and occasional willingness to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Be a beverage industry professional with at least 1 year of sales experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Willing to occasionally work nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to work remotely and add value.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead distributor sales forces and develop retail relationships.
• Familiar with the local market.

Green Light Distribution is growing quickly, we are looking for passionate, innovative, and self-motivated individuals with a business oriented and customer focused mindset to join the GLD family.

Responsibilities:

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with on and off premises staff, retail managers and customer sales personnel.
• Leverage relationship with key accounts to sell in distribution.
• A very "hands-on" individual able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment while helping other team members achieve success.
• Educate trade and the consumer through direct interaction including samplings, meetings, and trainings (support local team with staff training etc.).
• Utilize data analysis tools such as Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts, tasks and output.
• Maintain and enhance network of points of distribution.
• Achieve monthly sales and placements goals in assigned territory.

Relevant Work Experience and Requirements:

• A beverage industry professional with a minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; spirits background would be ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have and provide valid Driver's License and auto insurance that is in force.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, such as nights and weekends.
• A very "hands-on" individual able to work remotely and demonstrate added value.
• Strong interpersonal skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships.
• Familiarity with the local market.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
