Job Overview

Expert Plumbing Heating Inc is on the lookout for a skilled and driven Sales Representative to help expand our footprint in both the residential and commercial plumbing markets throughout NYC. This is not your average sales role-you'll be offering real solutions, building long-term partnerships, and working alongside a respected plumbing team that delivers on its promises. We need someone who understands the value of technical knowledge, takes initiative, and can close deals with confidence. This is a long-term role with plenty of room to grow-we're hiring for the right fit, not just the first fit.

Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, contractors, and business owners
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into long-term clients
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and tailor proposals accordingly
  • Create and present quotes, proposals, and service packages
  • Collaborate with project and service teams to ensure smooth job handoffs and follow-through
  • Track and report on sales activity using CRM tools or spreadsheets
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in plumbing, construction, or related industries
  • Strong technical understanding of plumbing systems and service offerings
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to build trust with clients through professionalism and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with NYC residential and commercial plumbing is a strong plus
