Job summary

Green Light Distribution in Melbourne, FL is seeking a passionate beverage sales professional with at least 1 year of supplier or distributor experience to join our team. You will identify target accounts, build relationships, and drive in-distribution sales within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include educating trade and consumers through samplings and trainings, using Encompass and MS Office to track activity, and meeting monthly sales goals while expanding our distribution

Qualifications

• Be beverage industry professional with 1+ year sales experience with a supplier or distributor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with on and off premises staff, retail managers and customer sales personnel.

• A very “hands-on” individual able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment while helping other team membersachievesuccess.


• Educate trade and the consumer through direct interactionincludingsamplings, meetings, andtrainings(support local team with staff training etc.)


• Utilize data analysis tools such as Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts,tasksand output.


• Maintain and enhance network of points of distribution.


• Achieve monthly sales and placements goals in assigned territory.

Relevant Work Experience and Requirements:

• A beverage industry professional with a minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor; spirits background would be ideal.


• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.


• Musthave and provide valid Driver’s Licenseand auto insurance that is in force.


• Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, such as nights and weekends.


• A very “hands-on” individual able to work remotely anddemonstrateadded value.


• Strong interpersonal skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships.


• Familiarity with the local market.
