Are you a scrappy sales professional who wants to help build the future of school safety from the ground up? Protech is seeking a high-impact Sales Representative to drive sales, lead customer success, and shape the future of education security.

Location: Remote role with preference for candidates based in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, or New England regions. Due to customer time zone alignment, we are currently not considering applicants based in the Pacific Northwest, Mountain Time Zone, or Southeast U.S.

Job-Type: Full-Time Contract

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Description:

Protech is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative to support our end-to-end sales processes: you will actively prospect and contact customers, and lead customer fulfillment. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by leading the project management of installations and overseeing customer support solutions, including training and documentation. This role will also provide input into product developments and the Protech business model, based on customer feedback. Additionally, you will work closely with the CEO and executives to define and prioritize sales initiatives, target audiences, techniques, and events. This is a leadership role requiring deep industry expertise, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven track record in driving complex, high-value deals.

Protech has a massive prospect pool with 115,000 schools and 9000 colleges organized into thousands of districts. Your role is organizing and prioritizing which schools to contact, and subsequently reaching out, both defining the techniques and supporting our AI process. You will be the point person to actively call, engage, negotiate, and secure the business. Our customers may not be avid users of email, so you will be expected to make regular phone calls to prospects in order to secure contracts. This role will represent the company during face-to-face interactions with pre-sale prospects and after-sale customers. Additionally, this role will represent the company at trade shows, with strong input into the design and selection of the shows, as well as the design of the booths.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of sales experience

· Proven track record in SaaS sales

· Experience growing high-performing sales teams across territories

· Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)

· Data-driven with proficiency in sales analytics, and pipeline management

· Coordinating using AI-based sales tools

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and concepts

· Willingness and ability to travel at a moment’s notice (up to 30% travel)

· Passionate about joining an early-stage startup at the ground floor

· Competitive base salary + generous commission and company bonuses

· Contract 1099 at first then conversion to employee upon satisfactory performance
